Saturday Night (and I like the way you move)

This Saturday I went to a party in aid of one of Nicola's friend's birthday at a bar in Central London. The decks were hired and open for anyone who wanted a go. I was planning to have a go (I brought along my records) but didn't end up playing because:

(1) The Tube was knackered so we got there at 10.30pm
(2) I had only practiced my set for an hour
(3) I had only been djing for ten days
(4) The only thing being played was drum & bass
(5) I had six records - one of which was played
(6) I realised that a bottle of wine and three pints of Strongbow might impair my performance

My (planned) setlist was as followed:

JSBX - "Calvin"
Daft Punk - "Robot Rock"
Klaxons - "Bouncer" (South Central Remix)
Chemical Brothers - "Setting Sun"
New order - "Blue Monday"
Nelly Furtardo - "Promiscuous"

I'll try and record it and post it on here - I need to find a way to do that as when I connect my mixer out to the microphone in on my computer it sounds like "Bumf-crr-Bumf-tzik."

Oh, and I making progress on my beat-matching/mixing. Sweet.

    Hey bud

Good planned set, like the dropping of nelly furtado, good move!
Djing when drunk is a definate no no, remember my accidental NAS b-side action at uni, I've never seen anyone kill a dancefloor so catastrophically!
